Are the rings comfortable?
Yes, the four sided rings are ergonomically designed for a fit flush between the curves of the wearers’ finger, making them very comfortable.
Do men wear the collection?
LUZ is truly a unisex collection as it appeals equally to men and women. Each LUZ piece can be worn by either, it is just a question of the right size.
How long do I have to wait for my LUZ piece?
Every LUZ piece is custom fabricated for the client. Please allow 3 – 4 weeks to manufacture your personal LUZ.
What gems are used in the LUZ Collection?
White diamonds, black diamonds and rubies embellish the pieces.
What are the color, cut and clarity of the diamonds used in the LUZ pieces?
We use Hearts and Arrows cut diamonds which are cut at 100x magnification (compared to the industry standard of 10x) to ensure brilliance of the diamonds. The clarity of Hearts and Arrow diamonds is SI with E-F color.
Can I modify a LUZ Ring?
Each LUZ piece can be personalized to meet the client’s preference and taste, e.g. changing the diamond configuration or adding a center stone.
Do the peaks on the ENIGMA ring and the BREAKUP ring hurt?
No, the peaks are polished down in a dull curve. The only time the wearer will feel the ring is when they are lifting something heavy, e.g. a suitcase.
Can the rings be sized?
The rings cannot be sized. Each ring is custom made for the individual as the style, design and intricacy of the rings means that they cannot be sized or mass produced.
Where is the nearest store near me?
The LUZ Collection is currently available at the home boutique in San Diego, CA on the island of Coronado, Neiman Marcus Las Vegas, Neiman Marcus Coral Gables and Neiman Marcus San Francisco (Fall 2008)
What are your shipping fees?
Merchandise will be shipped by UPS Air, and insured for the value of the item. Initial 2 day service shipments will be paid for, compliments of Houman Jewelry Design. Shipping outside the United States is available for an extra charge.
What are my payment options?
We accept Visa, Master Card, American Express and Discover cards. Payment is required in full at the time of your purchase.
Is sales tax applied to my purchase?
All California residents will be charged the required 7.75% state sales tax. Purchases made from outside of California and will be shipped outside of California will not be charged the CA Sales Tax.
How do I know that my order has been shipped?
When your order has been shipped, we will send you e-mail letting you know when to expect your package.
Exchange Policy
Houman Jewelry Design gives you the opportunity to confirm your purchase choice. If for any reason you are not satisfied, you have seven (7) days from receipt of the item for an exchange. Merchandise sent back for exchange should include the original packaging and be in the same condition as when it was received. Items sent for exchange after seven (7) days are subject to fees.
Return Policy
A 15% restocking fee is applied to all returned items. Returned merchandise should include the original packaging and be in the same condition as when it was received
Used merchandise cannot be returned after thirty (30) days unless defective. Houman Jewelry Design stands behind every item purchased. If for any reason a manufacturing error occurs it will be fully repaired or replaced at no charge. Items damaged for any other reason will be the responsibility of the consumer; however, we will repair the item at a lesser cost.
