Design duo, Heathette, otherwise known as Traver Rains, and Ritchie Rich, have embraced LUZ as their must have accessory. Since meeting Houman, in LA, at the Envy magazine, release party, with a love for all things unique and bold, there has been an inevitable attraction to the LUZ collection.

LUZ was invited to accessorize for Heatherette at Funkshion Miami Week Fashion show. The response was so fabulous, that LUZ and Houman went onto join them at NYC fashion week.

Putting the kids in a candy store long enough and … well you know what happens. Travers and Ritchie had to claim a LUZ to call their own. It is our delight to report that LUZ is now a permanent feature in their wardrobe, with Travers spotted  wearing his LUZ Breakup Cross on a little show called,  ‘Project Runway’.

First introduced at NYC Fashion Week, by Ritchie Rich and Travers Rains, Aubrey O’Day, fell in love with the LUZ jewelry collection that accessorized her down the runway. Aubray O’Day of music sensation group, Danity Kane, later performed with LUZ at the exclusive Heathette after-party. Just a few of their nearest and dearest friends (all 5000 of them), to celebrate the finale of their ‘Return to Oz’, runway extravaganza.

With a growing bond developing between the duo,  Aubrey could not bare to not be bejeweled with LUZ jewelry throughout the remainder of her Danity Kane tour. Another celebrity that went head over heels for our new crosses and rings was Aubrey O’ Day, member of the new pop group Danity Kane.

We can report that the love affair between LUZ Cuba Goodings Jr. began in the fall ’07, at NYC Fashion Week. First spotting the collection as it accessorized the models of the Heatherette show, Cuba knew at that moment that he had to have it.

A conversation with Houman, and moments later, the edgy LUZ Breakup ring an Cuba was united. Since then, the two seem to be inseparable as Cuba has been spotted wearing his favorite accessory at the Spirit Film Awards and then later at the David O’Brian show.

Nicknamed “Slash” because he was always in a hurry, zipping around from one thing to another, former Guns N’ Roses lead guitarist lost no time in getting acquainted and acquiring himself a Luz.  Made exclusively for the 22nd annual Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony, (March 2007), wife Peral Ferrar, joined her husband in donning a bespoke Luz ring. The four-sided ring was designed to reveal the words Rock or Roll when rotated, truly fusing the spirit of Luz and the ceremony.

Never being one to settle, drawn to it’s edgy and debauched persona, Slash went on to acquire himself a LUZ Breakup bracelet. Decked in two rows of black diamonds, punctuated by rubies along the side, Slash intrinsically felt that the LUZ bracelet felt at home on his wrist. After inducting Van Halen into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, the critically acclaimed guitarist, Slash, went onto perform with the bracelet, alongside current band members, Velvet Revolver.

As is custom for every Heathette show, no show is complete without an appearance from fashion icon, Amanda Lapore. As the finale for the Funksion show commenced, Amanda made her grand entrance down the runway. Not one to be shy, muse for David La Chappelle, took an immediate to the Luz Collection, taking a particular fancy to the edgy, Breakup necklace and ring.
